Alberto Del Rio Reveals The Extent Of Paige’s Injuries

After not wrestling since June, Paige will be undergoing surgery on her neck later this week. The extent of her injuries have been vague, but a tweet by her boyfriend, former WWE star Alberto Del Rio, offers some clarification.

He sent out this message on Saturday.

It was reported last week that WWE’s medical staff didn’t believe that Paige needed surgery. Dave Meltzer noted on Wrestling Observer Radio that WWE may not pay for Paige’s surgery since their doctors didn’t feel she needed it.

According to PWInsider.com, Paige is expected to undergo surgery on Wednesday. She will be sidelined six to nine months, providing her with a return time-frame of mid-April to mid-July.
