Alberto El Patron Pulled from Overseas Indie Events After Dispute

– We noted back in the summer that a Texas indie promotion called out current AAA Mega Champion Alberto El Patron (Alberto Del Rio) for no-showing one of their events. Now German promotion wXw is saying Alberto won’t be appearing at their upcoming shows due to a dispute with his management.

wXw announced on their Facebook, in German that the dates were booked in December 2014 but they were contacted this past weekend, just a week away from the events, by Alberto’s manager, who wanted an expensive business class upgrade for his flight to Switzerland.

wXw tried to come to an agreement with Alberto’s manager but he rejected their proposals and canceled the bookings.
