Alexa Bliss suffered a concussion wrestling Ronda Rousey over the weekend, but Mickie James is confident her tag partner will still be in attendance at WWE Evolution on Sunday.
Mickie gave an update on Alexa’s condition during Wednesday’s edition of Busted Open on Sirius XM and said, “She’ll definitely be there on Sunday,”
“I know she’s doing better,” James continued. “I try to talk to her every day, I know she’s doing better every day. Obviously, we all know, this isn’t ballet and it comes with the territory. So, as long as it’s what’s best for business and what’s best for her long-term health. I have no doubts that, regardless, we’ll all be out there and it’s gonna be amazing.”

WrestlingNews.co first reported on Alexa suffering the concussion, which has since been confirmed with multiple sources.
Bliss suffered the concussion while teaming with James against Rousey and Nia Jax at a WWE live event in Hartford, Connecticut on Saturday. Here is footage from the final minute of the match.
WWE’s backup plan for Bliss if she is unable to compete this Sunday will be for Alicia Fox to team up with Mickie James against Trish Stratus and Lita. WWE staged an angle on Raw where Fox and James instigated a brawl with Stratus and Lita during a backstage interview with Charly Caruso.
