Since March, Alisha Edwards has appeared a couple times on IMPACT Wrestling television out of concern for her husband, Eddie Edwards, who has spun out of control because of his maniacal obsession with Sami Callihan.
With Alisha’s top priority being the well-being of her husband, this has led to her wrestling career being placed on the back burner. However, it looks like she will be returning to the ring soon for IMPACT Wrestling.
In association with Xcite Wrestling, IMPACT Wrestling will hold their next One Night Only pay-per-view taping on August 25 in Binghamton, New York at American Legion Post 80. The event is officially titled “One Night Only: Night of the Dummies” and tickets are currently on sale at xcitewrestling.com. Among those slated to appear at the event are Eddie Edwards, Eli Drake, LAX, and Alisha. Alisha is featured on promotional material for the show and in her wrestling attire.

While Alisha’s sporadic appearances on IMPACT! are that of a concerned wife, she’s under contract as a member of the Knockouts division. At last year’s One Night Only: Victory Road – Knockouts Knockdown pay-per-view event, Karen Jarrett awarded her a contract for picking up the win in a four-on-four tag team match (she pinned Sienna earlier in the show with a roll-up to earn the spot in the match).
Alisha and Eddie became embroiled in a feud with Davey Richards and Angelina Love last year, which culminated with the first ever, Intergender Full Metal Mayhem Tag Team Match at Slammiversary on July 2, 2017. Alisha and Eddie came out on top, and it turned out to be Love’s final match with the company (Richards left the promotion a few weeks later). That was Alisha’s last match on either pay-per-view or IMPACT!, although she has worked three matches this year that got taped for Xplosion and the Global Wrestling Network. Alisha beat Laurel Van Ness in one of her final matches for IMPACT Wrestling.
Alisha’s last match for IMPACT Wrestling took place on April 26. In a match taped for Xplosion, Alisha lost to Katarina.
Alisha is no stranger to the ring as she has been wrestling on the independent circuit since 2006 (prior to joining IMPACT Wrestling, she wrestled as Alexxis Nevaeh or just Alexxis). She’s stood toe to toe with a number of notable competitors including Mickie James, Madison Rayne, Tessa Blanchard, Shelly Martinez and Sasha Banks early in the WWE Superstar’s career.
These days, Alisha mostly wrestles in the New England area for Chaotic Wrestling. She’s currently embroiled in a feud with a female wrestler by the name of Skylar over the Chaotic Wrestling Women’s Championship.
After holding the Chaotic Wrestling Women’s Championship for 77 days, Alisha lost the title to Skylar on June 1 in Lowell, Massachusetts (see photos below).
Since losing the title, Alisha has gone out of control. Here she is bullying a ring girl a few weeks ago.
Despite the loss, Alisha is still in possession of the Chaotic Wrestling Women’s Championship because she didn’t bring it with her for the match. Here she is taunting Skylar over it.
Alisha appeared at last night’s Chaotic Wrestling event in Lowell with the title in hand and wrestled Davienne, who fended off her attack of the ring girl, Sarah.

During the match, Alisha and ring girl Sarah had a tug of war over the title. Alisha became enraged after losing her grip on the title and falling down. Alisha then got in Sarah’s face, who looked terrified. Then, suddenly, Sarah kicked Alisha in the gut and nailed her with the DDT. She then placed Davienne on top of Alisha and the referee counted three. Skylar then cut a promo on the video screen saying she’s the real champ and that she’s coming back for her title at the next show.
