Backstage News on the WWE SummerSlam Main Event, Family vs. Family Match, Sheamus and Alicia Fox
– Both Sheamus and Alicia Fox were cleared to wrestle by WWE this week, likely backstage at RAW on Monday. There was speculation on Sheamus suffering a concussion last week and Fox was actually diagnosed with a concussion two weeks ago.
– Brock Lesnar vs. The Undertaker is expected to close this month’s WWE SummerSlam pay-per-view, not the “Winner Takes All” match between WWE World Heavyweight Champion Seth Rollins and United States Champion John Cena.
– For what it’s worth, at one point WWE was planning on having Roman Reigns and Dean Ambrose win the “Family vs. Family” match against Bray Wyatt and Luke Harper at SummerSlam.
