The WWE women’s division now has a bit of an Irish flavor with the arrival of Becky Lynch. Sharing a hometown with “The Celtic Warrior” Sheamus, this fiery redhead from Dublin, Ireland displays the brand of grit and determination fans have come to expect from her fellow countryman.

After competing in non-televised contests for nearly a year, Becky Lynch made her television in-ring debut on the June 26, 2014 episode of WWE NXT. Though she would amuse fans with her Irish jig, this Dublin native did not join WWE to become Fandango’s dance partner. Lynch easily won her debut match over Summer Rae, putting the girls of NXT on notice that she has come to fight.

Lynch made her WWE debut on the July 13, 2015 episode of Monday Night Raw as she helped Paige and Charlotte even the odds against Team Bella. In the midst of a brawl that also included Sasha Banks, Tamina and Naomi, Lynch took Brie Bella to the canvas and put her in the Dis-arm-her (also known as a Seated Fujiwara armbar).

Though she may be new to WWE, Lynch grew up inside the squared circle. She began training when she just 15-years-old, dedicating her life to professional wrestling and is now ready to make a major impact.
