Best known as one-half of the sensational Bella Twins, Brie made her WWE debut on the August 29, 2008 episode of SmackDown by defeating her first opponent, Victoria, via “Twin Magic”—a maneuver where she and her twin sister, Nikki, secretly switched places during wrestling matches. On April 11, 2011, the sneaky tactic assisted Brie in defeating Eve to win the Divas Championship for the first.

Every bit as crafty as she is stunning, this half-Italian, half-Mexican doll competed on ECW, WWE NXT, WWE Superstars and both Raw and SmackDown, where she partnered with her identical sister in both love and war.

No matter how many WWE Superstar hearts she has broken, Brie is always at her best when she’s breaking down her fellow Divas in the squared circle. After departing from WWE in 2012 to explore other endeavors, the conspiring twins returned the following spring to unleash a new wave of “Twin Magic” on any WWE Superstar or Diva who stands in their way.

Outside of WWE’s squared circle, Nikki and Brie have flourished as the premiere attraction of the popular E! reality series Total Divas, alongside castmembers Cameron, Eva Marie, Naomi, Natalya, Rosa Mendes and Summer Rae.

On April 11, 2014, Brie married longtime boyfriend Daniel Bryan in an intimate ceremony at L’Auberge Resort and Spa in Sedona, Arizona. The wedding was captured by E! cameras and featured in the Season 2 finale of Total Divas. The couple’s honeymoon, however. was short-lived. Upon his return to Raw, Bryan was informed that he would be defending his WWE World Heavyweight Championship against the barbarous Kane at Extreme Rules; he was flattened with three Tombstone Piledrivers by The Devil’s Favorite Demon, shortly after. On the April 28, 2014 episode of Raw, Kane targeted Brie during her impromptu Divas Championship contest against Paige, tearing through the ring and trying to drag her to “hell.” Even after Bryan seemingly conquered Kane in their Extreme Rules Match, Kane continued to stalk Brie and Bryan, who underwent neck surgery to repair lingering injuries that were only aggravated by the marauding demon.

After the recovering Bryan refused to relinquish the WWE World Heavyweight Champion on the May 26, 2014 Raw, Stephanie McMahon issued a startling demand: Either Bryan surrenders his championship at WWE Payback, or Brie would be terminated. Brie instead took control of the situation and quit WWE—saving Bryan’s title and giving Stephanie a farewell slap.

Stephanie, however, would return the slap on Raw on July 21. As Brie sat at ringside as a paying attendee to support her twin sister Nikki, The Billionaire Baroness confronted the former WWE Diva and, following an intense exchange, slapped Brie across the face. This demonstration of hostility incited Brie to involve the authorities, who arrested Stephanie on battery charges.

Brie would drop the charges the following Raw in exchange for her job and a match at SummerSlam against Stephanie McMahon. On the following week’s show, the contract signing for this contest broke down after an intense verbal exchange ended when Stephanie lashed out and delivered a Pedigree to both Brie and Nikki As if that wasn’t enough, Stephanie uncovered an apparent scandal only six nights prior to their match at The Biggest Party of the Summer, when Daniel Bryan’s physical therapist Megan claimed to have had an affair with the Aberdeen, Washington native. Brie slapped Miller in response to this alleged betrayal and was, in turn, arrested as Stephanie looked on. At SummerSlam, Brie fell to Stephanie after her Nikki walloped her with a stunning streaking, leaving Brie vulnerable to Stephanie for defeat.

After SummerSlam, Nikki stated that the ambush on her sister was a long time coming, with claims that that Brie has been “selfish” and “manipulative” since adolescence. Nikki appeared to sever all ties with her sister on the August 25, 2014 episode of Raw, when she said she wished that Brie had “died in the womb.” The following week, after Nikki continued to expose the “truth” about her sister, she offered Brie one final chance to mend the fence: to quit WWE. Brie chose physicality instead, shoving Nikki down to the canvas.

One way or another, the determined will attempt to rectify this family strife.
