WWE handled spring cleaning a little early as the company has released Bull Dempsey, Sylvester Lefort, Marcus Louis and two trainees who never made it to television.
The releases were made official Friday. NXT trainees Peter Howard and the masked Oscar Vasquez were also cut from the company.
Dempsey had gotten a push on NXT in the past, portrayed as a tough guy and then as a comedy figure, making fun of his weight issues. He was an audience favorite, but you could see they had lost interest in pushing him in recent months, similar to what happened with Solomon Crowe before he left the company.
