Charlotte Flair is featured in BODY10 – the 10th Anniversary of ESPN The Magazine’s “Body Issue.”
The former Women’s Champion joins 14 other athletes in celebration of the athletic form. They are Olympic figure skater Adam Rippon, the New York Giants’ Saquon Barkley, Pro Football Hall of Famer Jerry Rice, the Seattle Storm’s Sue Bird, and the Houston Astros’ Dallas Keuchel, among others.
For those of you who aren’t familiar with the concept of ESPN The Magazine’s “Body Issue,” Charlotte poses “tastefully nude” in the publication. She was shot in a way where private areas aren’t shown in the photos, with the exception of the buttocks in some shots.
Last week, Charlotte tweeted this behind-the-scenes photo from her shoot with the caption:
“No designer clothes, no makeup, no filters. Nothing to hide. Everything to be proud of. Every woman is a queen, never forget you wear your crown everyday.
“HONORED to be in this year’s @ESPN #Body10 and represent the amazing women of @WWE.”
Charlotte posted another teaser shot from the shoot on Instagram and revealed that her “naked butt” will be seen in ESPN The Magazine’s “Body Issue.”
Charlotte wrote, “My naked butt will be in the @ESPN #Body10 Issue…still insecure but proud of who I am and what I look like. Never let anyone tell you differently. #SeriouslyItsMyButt 👀.”
For those of you who saw the photos on Monday, a few more shots have since been released and you can check them out here.
You can also check out the photos in these two parts.
Charlotte rarely responds to criticism on Twitter, but she took exception to a fan saying that this photo of her looking ripped while wearing her green robe (and nothing else) is “heavily air brushed.” The fan apparently believes this is the case since Charlotte is usually not ripped when we see her on TV.
Charlotte responded to the fan by saying that she “worked very hard and dieted” for this shoot.
I worked very hard and dieted for this specific shoot 💪🏻👊🏻👍🏻

Charlotte likely took on a training regime and diet similar to that of bodybuilders so that she could look very ripped on the day of her shoot. This, however, requires a ton of manipulation with the diet and is not sustainable, which is why Charlotte doesn’t look as shredded on television as she does in the photos.
On Friday, she posted this photo of herself standing nude in a wrestling ring and noted that she had a few pints of Ben & Jerry’s ice cream after her shoot.
