Injury Update On AJ Styles, When WWE Hopes He’ll Wrestle Again

AJ Styles is not wrestling at this week’s WWE live events after sustaining a minor ankle injury during his Tables, Ladders and Chairs Match against Dean Ambrose at WWE TLC. Dave Meltzer noted late Saturday night on Wrestling Observer Radio that WWE officials are hoping that Styles will be able to wrestle this Tuesday on SmackDown LIVE at the Verizon Center in Washington D.C. — Tribute to the Troops will be taped before SmackDown airs on the USA Network. Styles will likely be at the event regardless of the injury.

The injury occurred when Styles took the over-the-top-rope backdrop from Ambrose. Here is photo he posted on Thursday.
