Kane on If WrestleMania Will Be His Last, Injuries and His Longevity, How He Wants To Be Remembered

Kane

– Kane recently spoke with TheWhig.com to promote WWE’s WrestleMania 32. The full interview can be found at this link. Below are highlights:

His health, longevity and injuries:

“I’ve been fortunate. As far as what I can control, I just try to take care of myself, stay in good shape and frankly, being a big guy helps as well. Even though I do do some things like fly off the top. I also don’t take as many risks as some of the smaller guys do so I think that’s helped me as well.”

“I’ve been pretty fortunate in that I haven’t had many injuries. I’ve broken my hand, I threw my back out once and then I’ve had some pretty bad cuts, but that’s been about it. I’ve been able to avoid most of the really, really bad injuries and career-ending injuries.” (Kane also noted that he has a chronic knee injury going back to high school)

If WrestleMania 32 will be his last:

“Who knows, man. I’m still having a good time and I think I’m still performing at a pretty high level as well, so as long as I can do that, and I’m good, then I’ll hang around.”

His legacy:

“I would like to be remembered as the guy who worked hard every night and set an example for the other guys in the locker room, and girls in the locker room. This is what a WWE superstar is supposed to do, this is how they’re supposed to act, this is how they’re supposed to treat the job, this is how they’re supposed to treat the WWE universe. More so than anything, I think that’s how I’d like to be remembered.”
