Likely Result For Sheamus vs. Roman Reigns At WWE TLC, WWE’s Legal Definition Of A Jobber

Sheamus vs. Roman Reigns

– New WWE World Heavyweight Champion Sheamus will defend the title against Roman Reigns in a Tables, Ladders & Chairs Match on Dec. 13 at WWE TLC: Tables, Ladders & Chairs . Reigns isn’t expected to win the WWE World Heavyweight Championship, but don’t expect a clean loss, perhaps with The Authority screwing him or King Barrett and Rusev assisting Sheamus in retaining the title.

– In January, Vito LoGrasso filed a class action lawsuit against WWE in Pennsylvania with former WWE developmental talent Adam Mercer. Lograsso claims that he suffers from serious neurological damage, chief complaint being deafness as a result of concussions sustained while wrestling for WWE at various points in the 1990s and from 2005 through 2007. WWE points out in a legal filing (uncovered by Chris Harrington) that while LoGrasso wrestled for the company in the 1990s, it was only as sporadically-used jobber. WWE’s legal team defines a jobber as “a temporary wrestler used on an as-needed basis essentially as a prop to lose to more prominent wrestlers.”
