Big Show Appears After NXT Tapings, News on Takeover 2 Tickets, More

- PWInsider reports that WWE Hall of Famer Harley Race was injured in a fall on Thursday in St. Louis and will have to miss the final Mid-Atlantic Legends Fanfest in Charlotte this weekend. Race slipped and fell on his hip but still tried to make the drive from St. Louis to Charlotte. The pain was too much and Race had to turn around after about 35 miles. There's fear Race may have broken his hip but he will be examined soon.
- We noted in last night's WWE NXT spoilers that Natalya defeated Carmella, in what would have been Carmella's TV debut. That match was actually a dark match.
- The dark match after last night's NXT tapings at Full Sail saw Big Show defeat Cesaro with a chokeslam.
- Tickets for NXT Takeover 2 on September 11th went on sale at midnight last night but were apparently already available for people who attended last night's tapings. I tried to purchase the two-day VIP ringside combo tickets at midnight on the dot and all ringside seats were already sold out. There are just over 500 general admission seats left. It is confirmed that there will be a set of TV tapings the night after Takeover 2.
