Tammy Sytch (a/k/a Sunny) is back behind the camera after being released from jail on Friday.
The WWE Hall of Famer was on her way to court-ordered rehab when she talked to TMZ Sports about the passing of Chyna last April.
Sytch says she recognized Chyna was going down a bad path and tried to convince her to go to rehab with her, but refused. Chyna said she knew what she was doing and was having fun.
Chyna died on April 20, 2016, while Sytch was seeking treatment for herself. According to her autopsy report, she died of an overdose of alcohol, combined with the anxiety drugs diazepam and nordazepam; painkillers oxycodone and oxymorphone; and sleeping aid temazepam.
After her passing, Sytch felt very guilty because “she’d still be here” if she went to rehab with her. Sytch, however, noted that you can’t force someone to do something that they don’t want, “especially when it comes to rehab, you have to want it.”
