Tegan Nox returned to action Thursday night for the first time since suffering a devastating knee injury last August in the Mae Young Classic.
The Welsh grappler made her comeback at an NXT live event in Orlando, Florida. Nox and Jessi Kamea (aka Jessie Elaban) teamed up to defeat Aliyah and Vanessa Borne. The finish of the match was Nox getting a hot tag, hitting a cannonball into the corner and a top rope crossbody, and then pinning Borne after a fireman’s carry into a stunner.

Nox tore her MCL, LCL, ACL and both menisci in her left knee on August 9, 2018 in a Mae Young Classic quarterfinal match against Rhea Ripley (the match aired on October 17, 2018).
The setback was especially disappointing since Nox had to miss much of 2017 due to an ACL tear in her right knee. The injury occurred shortly after she joined the WWE Performance Center and prevented Nox from competing in the inaugural Mae Young Classic.
Commenting on her long-awaited return on social media, Nox tweeted her gratitude toward NXT fans for their support and simply captioned an Instagram photo, “I’m home! #FasterStrongerShinier.”
