Update on Why Bobby “The Brain” Heenan Had Surgery Today, How Long He’s Going To Be Away For

– As noted earlier, “Mean” Gene Okerlund revealed that WWE Hall of Famer Bobby “The Brain” Heenan successfully underwent an important surgery earlier today.

T-Mart Promotions noted on their Facebook that Heenan’s wife informed them earlier that “The Brain” fell last night and broke his hip. This is why he had surgery today and is currently in recovery.

It looks like Heenan will not be able to make appearances for several months. Due to the accident, Heenan was forced to pull out of his Legends of the Ring and Wrestling Universe Store appearances on Sunday, September 21st.
