People Making Fun Of Her Weight And Taking Things Personal

Chris asks Vickie if she ever had a problem with the way that she was teased about her weight and if it bothered her and she responds “of course it did.” She points out that when she first came into the company she was working with a huge assortment of gorgeous women who had perfect ten bodies and Booker T’s wife, Sharmell was the one who told her to not let the comments bother her and to just be herself and be proud of who she is.

Chris relates that when he was playing heel he would take the boos and “asshole” chants as a badge of honor, and says that people outside the business don’t understand how he can be accepting of that. Guerrero says that John Laurinaitis would constantly reassure her that if they’re hating her she’s doing a good job.

Chris says he gets a kick out of people expecting him to be a jerk, using the analogy that if you met Anthony Hopkins out in public he wouldn’t actually be wearing a straightjacket and eating people.

Her Relationship With Vince McMahon

Chris asks about Vickie’s relationship with her former boss and she remarks at how supportive he’s always been, saying that he’s like a father to her the same as he was to Eddie. She says that Vince and Eddie had a very special relationship, revealing that the two had already been talking for a while prior to him jumping from WCW with the other Radicalz. She says that all of the McMahons have always been wonderful to her and made it a point to make sure she would be okay.

She then relates that she always knew Vince was going to ask her to do something—such as get Tombstoned by Undertaker or take the 619 from Rey Mysterio—by the way he would approach her. She said that he would take her in the ring and walk her through things to make sure she was comfortable with it, and points out that he’s always been great with all the female performers.

She talked to him about leaving a year before she actually did, revealing that her dream had always been to enter the medical field, and said he told her he was so proud of her to be able to be happy leaving, and told her “If you’re going to be happy, I’m happy.” Vickie says she doesn’t care what anyone else says about him, she’s very fond of Vince.
