Why Ronda Rousey Didn’t Appear On Raw Despite Being Advertised

Ronda Rousey

Ronda Rousey was not a part of Raw on Monday despite a WWE.com article the previous week saying otherwise.

A video highlighting the feud between Rousey & Kurt Angle and Stephanie McMahon & Triple H aired, but she did not appear on the episode in person.

WWE had promoted that Rousey would be appearing at every Raw in the lead-up to WrestleMania starting with last week’s show, but the WWE.com article announcing that has since been deleted (it now redirects to Rousey’s profile page).

According to Pro Wrestling Sheet editor Ryan Satin’s sources in WWE, Rousey was “incorrectly advertised” by WWE.com because the newly signed Superstar was scheduled for medical testing in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania on Monday.

The WWE sources add that Rousey really wanted to be at Raw, but couldn’t due to her medical testing.

On WWE.com’s “Tickets & Events” page, Rousey isn’t currently advertised for next Monday’s Raw in Dallas, Texas or the March 26th show in Cleveland, Ohio. Whether or not she’ll be appearing at those two episodes hasn’t been officially confirmed. The next time that she’s listed is for April 2nd in Atlanta, Georgia, which is the final Raw before WrestleMania.

Satin was told that Rousey will be present at every Raw prior to WrestleMania. However, it’s possible that she’s only backstage or appears in a dark segment.
