WWE Has Big Plans For Lana

Lana

According to Dave Meltzer and Bryan Alvarez of Wrestling Observer Radio, WWE officials have plans to give Lana a big push on television. She last appeared for the organization at WrestleMania 31 alongside Rusev, who lost the United States Championship to John Cena at the event.

Following Rusev’s loss at WrestleMania on Sunday, Lana, who had gotten knocked off of the ring apron at the finish of the contest, sat on the ground nursing an ankle “injury” while her client, and real life love interest, Rusev proceeded to yell at here and leave her to fend for herself.

According to Meltzer, Vince McMahon is high on Lana and wants to push her on WWE television into some sort of limelight. The WWE Chairman apparently thought that fans chanting, “We want Lana,” during her recent three week absence from WWE television proves that fans want to see more of “The Ravishing Russian.” Prior to WrestleMania 31, Lana was off television filming her role in the upcoming WWE Studios’ motion picture, Interrogation, with WWE Hall of Famer Edge.

On Tuesday, Lana went on Twitter to comment on her future since she wasn’t on the previous night’s episode of Raw.

It will be interesting to see what Lana has in store for fans next, if it exists without being by the side of Rusev.
