WWE’s Rumored Plans For WrestleMania 32

WrestleMania 32

After Seth Rollins went down with a major knee injury on Thursday, there were reports of WWE higher-ups hitting the reset button on most creative plans headed not only into Survivor Series, but all the way to Wrestlemania 32 on April 3, 2016, at AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas.

There has been speculation that WWE was planning for Seth Rollins to keep the WWE World Heavyweight Championship all the way to Wrestlemania 32. Other reports have claimed that Reigns was meant to take the title away from Rollins before the end of the year.

Regardless, all of those plans have changed. A new report has emerged potentially revealing what WWE has planned for Wrestlemania 32.

According to PWInsider.com, WWE has plans in place for John Cena to face The Undertaker at the event. There were no details revealed on how that feud would possibly begin to build.

PWInsider.com also reports that Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson will face Triple H. There are no confirmed details on how this feud will come about, but the two rivals played around with the idea on an episode of SmackDown last year, and there has been speculation of Johnson being involved in WWE’s storylines before the end of 2015. The Authority vs. “The Most Electrifying Man In Sports Entertainment” could be a major feud in 2016.

With Rollins sidelined, WWE does not have concrete plans for the WWE World Heavyweight Championship. The original plans as per the report were for Rollins to defend the title against either Roman Reigns or Brock Lesnar in a singles contest, or both WWE Superstars in a Triple Threat Match.

Only time will tell if these rumors and match-ups occur, but these are the rumored matches to take place at WrestleMania 32.
