After 10 weeks of training, challenges, bumps, bruises, yelling and standoffs, Josh Bredl and Sara Lee won WWE Tough Enough and each receiving a one-year, $250,000 WWE contract. Amanda Saccomanno, who lost to Sara in the finals, is also under contract to the sports-entertainment organization — according to PWInsider.com — and has joined the cast of Total Divas. So which other Tough Enough contestants could be joining WWE?
Bryan Alvarez mentioned recently on Wrestling Observer Live that of the male contestants, Patrick Clark and Mada Adelhamid are expected to be offered developmental contracts. As for the women, “the majority” are expected to be offered deals as well, with the exception of one individual. Without mentioning her name, Alvarez said one of the female contestants was “red flagged” from receiving an offer. In other words, WWE officials discovered something about one of the women that could cause embarrassment for the company and therefore will not risk association with this person in the future.
Alvarez added that the woman is not Amanda and that she would likely be offered a contract — which turned out to be true. The remaining Tough Enough women not under contract to WWE are Giorgia “GiGi” Piscina, Chelsea Green, Gabi Castrovinci, Daria Berenato and Dianna Dahlgren.
