Mercedes Moné Varnado is an American professional wrestler, actress and artist under contract to All Elite Wrestling. She wrestles for AEW under the ring name “The CEO” Mercedes Moné and is the AEW TBS Champion in her first reign.
Moné doesn’t limit herself to competition from AEW as she wrestles for multiple promotions all over the world, holding a total of nine championships. In addition to the AEW TBS Championship, her title portfolio includes the Owen Hart Foundation Women’s Cup title in AEW, RevPro’s Undisputed British Women’s Championship, the CMLL World Women’s Championship (Mexico), the EWA Women’s Championship (Austria), the Queen of Southside Championship (unified with the Undisputed British Women’s Championship), Prime Time Wrestling Women’s Championship (Poland), the BestYa Wrestling Women’s Championship (Italy), and the Discovery Wrestling Women’s Championship (Scotland)
Moné wrestles for Revolution Pro Wrestling (RevPro) and is the Undisputed British Women’s Champion in her first reign. Varnado also has the Queen of Southside Championship in her possession, but it is no longer active after it was unified with the RevPro British Women’s Championship to become the Undisputed British Women’s Championship.
Moné wrestles in Mexico for Consejo Mundial de Lucha Libre (CMLL). At AEW Grand Slam Mexico on June 18, 2025, in Mexico City, Mexico, she beat Zeuxis to capture the CMLL World Women’s Championship. Moné also wrestles for New Japan Pro-Wrestling (NJPW) and its sister promotion, World Wonder Ring Stardom. She is a former NJPW Strong Women’s Champion, having held the title for 313 days. She surpassed Giulia‘s 249-day reign to become the longest-reigning NJPW Strong Women’s Champion ever.

Her full real name is Mercedes Justine Kaestner-Varnado, and she was born on January 26, 1992 (age 33) in Fairfield, California, United States. She goes under the name Mercedes Varnado for acting roles. She portrays Koska Reeves, a recurring character in the Disney+ space Western series The Mandalorian. Varnado is also known for her time in WWE from 2012 to 2022, where she performed under the name Sasha Banks.
