Alexa Bliss posted these images on February 15, 2026, in an Instagram post. She captioned her post with these lyrics from the Britney Spears song “Circus”: “All eyes on me, in the center of the ring – just like a circus.”

She was born Alexis Kaufman on August 9, 1991 (age 34) in Columbus, Ohio, United States. After marrying musician Ryan Cabrera on April 9, 2022, she became known as Alexis Cabrera. However, she refers to herself as Lexi Cabrera on Instagram and X. For acting roles, she refers to herself as Lexi Kaufman. Her WWE nickname is Five Feet of Fury.

With no professional wrestling experience, Kaufman joined WWE in May 2013 as a developmental talent. She made her first appearance on television on July 24, 2013, on WWE NXT among a group of female talent congratulating Paige on becoming the inaugural NXT Women’s Champion (taped June 20, 2013) — click here to watch. On August 8, 2013, at a non-televised NXT live event in Tampa, Florida, Kaufman appeared as Scott Dawson’s girlfriend. For her appearance, Kaufman sported “Daisy Duke” shorts and cowboy boots. She was not identified by name.

On August 27, 2013, Kaufman introduced herself as Alexa Bliss in a Twitter post and changed her handle to @AlexaBliss_WWE. She wrote, “I AM Alexa Bliss #wwe #wwenxt #missBliss #blissyourheart #diva. While her post has since been deleted, it lives on via Diva-Dirt.com.

Participating in a Six-Woman Tag Team Match, she teamed up with Emma and Sasha Banks in a loss to Bayley, Kendall Skye and Paige. The same outcome took place the following night in Orlando, Florida.

Bliss made her singles wrestling debut on November 14, 2013, at a non-televised event in Tampa, Florida, losing to Sasha Banks. She picked up her first victory on December 20, 2013, defeating Banks at a non-televised event in Orlando, Florida.

Her first television appearance on the main roster took place at WrestleMania 30 on April 6, 2014, as part of Triple H’s extravagant entrance alongside Charlotte and Sasha Banks.

When Paige was forced to relinquish the NXT Women’s Championship after capturing the WWE Divas Championship from AJ Lee, the door of opportunity swung wide open for Alexa Bliss. Donning a glitter-covered tutu and a fairytale demeanor to match, Bliss made her televised wrestling debut in a tournament for the vacant NXT Women’s Championship. She scored an upset victory over former Divas Champion Alicia Fox in a first round match, which aired on NXT on May 8, 2014 — click here to see Alexa get ready for her NXT TV debut. Bliss fell to Charlotte in a semifinal match the following week, who would go on to capture the coveted title.

Bliss became a fixture on NXT programming from then on as she continued to pursue the NXT Women’s Championship. In 2015, she became a villain by aligning herself with Blake and Murphy. She helped the duo hold onto their NXT Tag Team Championship on several occasions during their reign from October 22, 2015, to April 1, 2016. WWE recognizes their reign as beginning on November 11, 2015, when the episode aired on tape delay.

On July 19, 2016, Bliss was drafted to SmackDown during the 2016 WWE Draft. Within eight months, Bliss captured the SmackDown Women’s Championship twice and became the first person to do so. On December 4, 2016, she defeated Becky Lynch in a Tables Match at WWE TLC: Tables, Ladders & Chairs to capture the title for the first time. On February 12, 2017, she dropped the SmackDown Women’s Championship to Naomi at Elimination Chamber. On SmackDown on February 21, 2017, Bliss defeated Lynch to capture the SmackDown Women’s Championship for the second time after Naomi was forced to vacate the title due to injury.

Bliss was traded to Raw in April 2017 and began referring to herself as “The Goddess of WWE.” On April 30, 2017, at WWE Payback, she defeated Bayley to become Raw Women’s Champion. As a result of her win, she became the first person to capture both the Raw Women’s Championship and the SmackDown Women’s Championship. She lost the Raw Women’s Championship to Sasha Banks at SummerSlam 2017, but regained the gold one-week later and reigned for more than six months.

She made history by winning the first-ever Women’s Elimination Chamber Match, then lost the Raw Women’s Championship to former friend Nia Jax at WrestleMania 34. On June 17, 2018, Bliss won the Money in the Bank Ladder Match and, that night, cashed in her contract and captured the Raw Women’s Championship for a third time.

Shortly after losing the Raw Women’s Championship to Ronda Rousey at SummerSlam 2018, Bliss took some time off from wrestling. She got her own talk show, “A Moment of Bliss,” and hosted WrestleMania 35. In the summer of 2019, with partner Nikki Cross, she won the WWE Women’s Tag Team Championship, once again proving her dominance.

But just when you thought she couldn’t get any more dangerous, Alexa became captivated by The Fiend in 2020 and became his full-blown accomplice while paying multiple visits to The Firefly Fun House before she betrayed him at WrestleMania 37. After a few rounds of therapy, however, Bliss went back to her old self and was hungry for championship glory.

In the summer of 2022, Bliss teamed up with Asuka and Bianca Belair to stop the rise of Damage CTRL (Bayley, Dakota Kai and IYO SKY). On the Halloween edition of Raw, Bliss and Asuka captured the WWE Women’s Tag Team Championship from Kai and SKY. They lost the titles to them five days later at WWE Crown Jewel due to interference from Nikki Cross.

Following Bray Wyatt’s return to WWE in late 2022, there would be moments where flickers of imagery connected to Wyatt and the related Uncle Howdy character would appear during Alexa’s TV appearances. During a match against Raw Women’s Champion Bianca Belair on Raw on January 2, 2023, Bliss would be distracted by fans wearing Uncle Howdy masks and flickers of Wyatt’s imagery on the video screen. This caused her to snap and viciously attack both the referee and Belair, resulting in Bliss losing via disqualification. A rematch for the Raw Women’s Championship took place at the Royal Rumble on January 28, 2023, which resulted in Belair defeating Bliss to retain her title.

In her first match at a WWE pay-per-view event, Alexa Bliss faced Becky Lynch, Carmella, Natalya, Naomi and Nikki Bella in a Six-Pack Challenge Elimination Match to crown the the first SmackDown Women’s Champion. You can see this match in its entirety here.

After a two-year absence, Bliss reemerged on February 1, 2025, at the Royal Rumble in the Women’s Royal Rumble Match. After coming up short in the Women’s Royal Rumble Match, Bliss beat Candice LeRae to earn a spot in the Women’s Elimination Chamber Match at WWE’s Elimination Chamber event.
