Her full real name is Mercedes Justine Kaestner-Varnado, and she was born on January 26, 1992 (age 34) in Fairfield, California, United States. She goes under the name Mercedes Varnado for acting roles. She portrays Koska Reeves, a recurring character in the Disney+ space Western series The Mandalorian. Varnado is also known for her time in WWE from 2012 to 2022, where she performed under the name Sasha Banks.

At WrestleDream on October 18, 2025, Mina Shirakawa answered an open challenge issued by Moné, putting her Interim ROH Women’s World Television Championship on the line in a Winner Takes All match alongside Moné’s TBS Championship. Moné was victorious, winning her 11th concurrent championship and breaking the nearly 30-year record by Último Dragón for most titles held simultaneously.
