Backstage Update on Reports of AJ Styles and Other Top NJPW Stars Signing with WWE

– Regarding all the talk of New Japan Pro Wrestling stars AJ Styles, Shinsuke Nakamura, Karl Anderson and Doc Gallows signing with WWE, which seems to be a sure thing now that WWE is covering the rumors on their website, it was noted by PWInsider that as of January 5th, none of the four have signed WWE contracts.

It was also noted by PWI that while Styles and Gallows are no longer under contract to NJPW, Nakamura and Anderson are. Technically Anderson and Nakamura can’t even negotiate with WWE until their deals expire. This is interesting as WWE’s website mentioned reports that all four are in negotiations with the company.
