Why Bret Hart Won’t Be Appearing At Raw 25, Candice LeRae Talks About Joining WWE, Sasha Banks On TRL

Bret Hart

– When WWE announced in October that it would be holding a show celebrating the 25th anniversary of Monday Night Raw from the Barclays Center and Manhattan Center in New York on Monday, Jan. 22, Bret Hart was locally advertised as appearing. Hart is no longer being advertised as appearing as he won’t be at the show.

According to this week’s issue of the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, Hart won’t be at Raw 25 since he scheduled a visit from his hand surgeon that day in Calgary and he is flying from Paris, France for the appointment. Sue Aitchison, WWE Director of Talent Relations, called Hart about his status for the show and said that he doesn’t want to cancel his appointment. He then texted Vince McMahon directly to explain the situation.

It was reported last month that Hart filed a $1 million lawsuit over an allegedly botched wrist surgery that he underwent in 2015. Hart claiming that the surgery Dr. Justin Yeung performed left him unable to use the index finger and thumb on his right hand.
