Aliyah Facts WWE NXT Fans Need To Know |

New blood may be on the way to the Divas division as Jasmin Areebi (real name Nhooph Al-Areebi), a women’s wrestler from Toronto, Ontario, Canada, has begun training at the WWE Performance Center in Orlando, Florida, in hopes of one day making it to Raw, SmackDown and if she’s really lucky, Total Divas.

Areebi, a 20-year-old of Arabic descent, secured a developmental contract with WWE after impressing organization officials at a tryout in June 2014. She is a well-known name in the Canadian independent wrestling circuit and had branched out to the United States.

Areebi became interested in professional wrestling as a teenager. She saw an advertisement for a seminar with one-time TNA Women’s Knockout Champion Taylor Wilde, who also hails from Toronto, and signed up for it.

Areebi, then 16-years-old, attended the training class at the Squared Circle Training Centre, and has been hooked on wrestling ever since.

“I fell in love with wrestling,” Areebi told SLAM! Wrestling.
