WWE Signs Another Female Talent

Shadia Bseiso joins WWE

WWE has signed Shadia Bseiso.

The first four episodes of the Mae Young Classic were uploaded to the WWE Network this morning and on one of the shows, it was announced that Bseiso had signed with WWE.

So who is she?

A 30-year-old television presenter from Jordan, Bseiso has immense experience in hosting live shows and has also made a name for herself as a voiceover artist.

Bseiso has a blue belt in Brazilian jiu-jitsu and won silver and bronze medals at the Abu Dhabi World Pro Championships in 2014.

The driving force behind her competitive spirit lies in her desire to become the first female WWE Superstar from the Middle East.

Back in April, Bseiso was one of 34 athletes to take part in WWE’s four-day tryout in Dubai.

“I want to be the first WWE female Superstar from the Middle East and that is something that has motivated me a lot in these tryouts,” she said in an interview.

“This will also show the women from this region that nothing is impossible and if you set your mind on achieving something, you can overcome absolutely any obstacle.”

An important part of being a WWE Superstar is their skill in front of the camera and Bseiso’s experience in the television industry is going to be a huge boost for her. But she was quick to point out that it is a minor advantage and her talent as a professional wrestler will be the deciding factor.

“Sometimes, it is better to start from scratch. I hope my experience being in front of TV cameras will help me when we do the promo training but we’ll have to wait and see,” she said.
