Sheamus Expected To Cash In His Money in the Bank Briefcase Soon, How It May Play Out
Bryan Alvarez speculated on Thursday’s edition of Wrestling Observer Live that due to lackluster television ratings, WWE will likely have Sheamus cash in his Money in the Bank briefcase soon.
Sheamus has teased cashing in the briefcase on television and with company officials reportedly panicking over ratings, it should not be a shocker to see “The Celtic Warrior” take a chance at becoming the WWE World Heavyweight Champion.
One idea batted around in August was for Sheamus to capture the title from Rollins and align himself with Triple H and Stephanie McMahon. Rollins would then turn babyface and feud with Triple H. While there are long-term plans for Rollins to feud with Triple H, Vince McMahon didn’t want to turn Rollins babyface yet.
