Why Sid Didn’t Appear At Raw Reunion
Sid Eudy (aka Sid Vicious, Sid Justice, Sycho Sid, or simply just Sid) was the only WWE legend advertised for Raw Reunion who did not appear on the show. According to Dave Meltzer on Wrestling Observer Radio, Eudy canceled the appearance a few days ago. Meltzer did not give additional details on his cancellation.
WWE advertised Sid for Raw Reunion in a commercial uploaded to WWE.com and YouTube after Raw last week. WWE, however, removed the commercial on Tuesday and stopped advertising Sid for Raw Reunion.
Since leaving WWE in 1997, Eudy has only appeared on Raw two times — both occurring in 2012. On the June 25, 2012 episode of Raw, Eudy returned as Sycho Sid in a match against Heath Slater, where he defeated Slater as part of WWE’s promotion for the 1000th episode of Raw.
Eudy’s last appearance on WWE television took place exactly seven years ago today on the 1000th episode of Raw as he and other former WWE wrestlers helped Lita beat Heath Slater in a No Disqualification Match.
