WWE Reportedly Paying Female Talent For Greatest Royal Rumble, Mike Kanellis Gets Exciting News

– Although WWE’s female talent did not appear at the Greatest Royal Rumble last Friday in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia, Jerry “The King” Lawler believes they’re all getting paid regardless.

A few days before the Greatest Royal Rumble, Lawler talked about the event on his podcast, Dinner With The King. Jim Cornette, who was Lawler’s guest on the podcast, suggested that WWE give a “heck of a payoff” to all of the women sitting at home with the rumored millions of dollars they’re being paid by the Saudi General Sports Authority.

Lawler replied, “I think that’s exactly what’s happening.”

According to a report by PWInsider.com on Monday, WWE is indeed doing that.

The Greatest Royal Rumble was the first event in WWE’s 10-year agreement with the Saudi General Sports Authority. Paul “Triple H” Levesque defended that partnership in an interview ahead of the show, noting that they’ve had discussions about women not being able to wrestle in Saudi Arabia and WWE believes and hopes they’ll be allowed to within the next few years.
