Mada on Being Angry at His WWE Tough Enough Elimination, The Miz Saving Amanda, What’s Next, More

WWE Tough Enough

– Brian Fritz of SportingNews.com spoke with Mada Abdelhamid after his elimination from WWE Tough Enough this week. The full interview can be found at this link. Below are a few highlights:

Being angry at his elimination:

Yeah, I was definitely angry. Iโ€™m a competitor and I hate to lose, especially when I know I should have won. That makes it even worse. If I lose and I deserve to lose, thatโ€™s fine. I believe in my heart โ€” and a lot of people out there believed me too โ€” that I shouldnโ€™t have went home last night. Thatโ€™s life sometimes and you just have to roll with the punches. Iโ€™ve got my head held up high and Iโ€™m ready to take the next step.

If he thinks The Miz was trying to get attention and play up his character by saving Amanda:

Iโ€™m not really sure what he was trying to do. I canโ€™t really speculate on his intentions. I donโ€™t know why he called me out in the bottom three and saved Amanda. His reason for putting me in the bottom three was I played the โ€˜blame gameโ€™ for whatever that means. Youโ€™re going to have to ask him that question. Iโ€™m dying to find the answer to it. I donโ€™t really know the reason for it. Some people were telling me he was targeting me for some reason but, to be honest, I have no idea why. But again, it is what it is and now itโ€™s time to move on.

If the trainers pointed out his speaking abilities:

Definitely. I was the โ€˜promo kingโ€™. I was the best at cutting promos. I had an amazing ring entrance with my presence. When I speak, everyone stops to listen because I do have that personality, that โ€˜itโ€™ factor if you like to call it. Thatโ€™s something you canโ€™t teach. You can teach someone how to wrestle in the ring. You can teach somebody all these moves but you canโ€™t teach what I have. The trainers did point that out. It was good to know. Itโ€™s something that you canโ€™t get โ€” you either have it or you donโ€™t and Iโ€™m glad that I do.

What’s next:

Next step is getting my foot in the door with NXT, getting back here to Orlando at the Performance Center. This is a state-of-the-art facility. They have the best coaches and training in the world. Right now, Iโ€™m heading up to Washington, D.C. tonight to see my family and Patrick (Clark, who was previously eliminated from the show). Iโ€™m going to meet up with him tomorrow and get some training in the ring. With me, thereโ€™s no days off. Everybody says go spend time with your family and relax. Have a vacation. For me, thereโ€™s no days off. I want this. I getting right back in the ring. I want to get better. I want to get back here with NXT and hopefully from there with WWE.
