WWE’s Current Plans For Royal Rumble Finish and Fastlane Main Event

For the first time in WWE history, the reigning WWE World Heavyweight Champion must defend his title in the 30-Superstar Royal Rumble Match when champion Roman Reigns enters the annual contest on Jan. 24. It appears likely that the match will end in controversy.

Current creative plans call for the 30-Superstar Royal Rumble Match to end in a controversial manner, with Reigns and Brock Lesnar as the final two participants. This would lead to Reigns facing Lesnar at Fastlane on Feb. 21, with the WWE World Heavyweight Championship at stake.
