AJ Styles Denies Rumor About Hernia Injury, Five WWE Stars Who Disrespected The Undertaker, Sherri Martel

— AJ Styles denied a report that he is dealing with a hernia injury.

When a fan asked about the ailment, “The Phenomenal One” tweeted:

Dave Meltzer noted after Raw on Wrestling Observer Radio that Styles has been working through a hernia.

The 41-year-old shot down the report after getting physical during on SmackDown LIVE in anticipation of his upcoming Elimination Chamber Match against Daniel Bryan, Randy Orton, Jeff Hardy, Samoa Joe and Mustafa Ali for the WWE Championship.

Styles has debunked multiple rumors this week, including a report from Wrestling News World that said he agreed to a new contract with WWE:

While Styles’ contract is rumored to be expiring soon, he made it clear that no final decision has been made regarding his future in wrestling.

Based on that and the hernia report, the former WWE Champion took issue with the way reporting is done nowadays:

— -The late Sherri Martel was born on this day in 1958. WWE sent out this post on Instagram asking everyone to remember Martel on her birthday.

Martel — real name Sherri Russell — died on June 15, 2007, at her mother’s residence in McCalla, Alabama, near Birmingham. She was 49 years old. On September 11, 2007, homicide investigators in Tuscaloosa, Alabama released the toxicology report stating that she died of an overdose with multiple drugs in her system, including high amounts of oxycodone. She was cremated after her death.
