WWE’s hope that the first women’s match in Saudi Arabia would happen today at WWE Super ShowDown appears to be lost.
Dave Meltzer of F4WOnline was told today by WWE people in Saudi Arabia that a match between Alexa Bliss and Natalya was not approved by the Saudi Arabian government for today’s Super ShowDown event in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia.
Bliss and Natalya flew to Saudi Arabia with WWE and organization officials hoped the match would be a late addition to Super ShowDown. The Saudi Arabian government had at one point indicated to WWE that they could have their first women’s match on the show.
Bliss and Natalya did a promotional appearance today as they visited children at the King Faisal Specialist Hospital with Apollo Crews, Mojo Rawley, Ricochet, Robert Roode and Roman Reigns.
