Backstage News On Who Undertaker May Face At WrestleMania 32 – Three Possible Opponents

Undertaker

According to this week’s issue of the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, WWE is currently considering three potential opponents for The Undertaker at WrestleMania 32: Seth Rollins, John Cena and Braun Strowman.

If Rollins is out of the title picture by the time WrestleMania rolls around, it would make sense and wouldn’t take a lot of work for Undertaker to take on the company’s top heel at WrestleMania.

As for Cena, a match against The Undertaker has never happened at a major event since Cena has become the face of the company. This might be the last chance for WWE to run a face vs. face match at WrestleMania between their two biggest stars of the past 10-15 years. This could have the potential for another “end of an era”-type match.

Braun Strowman actually makes sense in a few different ways. Undertaker has an established history with Bray Wyatt (and by extension, the Wyatt Family). He will also be teaming with Kane during the WWE’s upcoming Oct. tour of Mexico to face the team of Harper and Strowman, so they could have this feud begin bubbling under the surface, or are at least pairing up Taker and Strowman to see how it goes. However, the best storyline reason for this match to take place is if Strowman continues to run roughshod over the WWE roster until next year, Undertaker would be the babyface “last line of defense” to take the big man out.

WrestleMania 32 will take place on April 3, 2016, at AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas.
