Former WWE Writer Wants To Manage Nia Jax

Nia Jax

Should Nia Jax ever need a manager, one former WWE creative writer has offered his services.

Brian Gewirtz, a former WWE creative writer who now serves as Senior Vice President of Developmental for Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson’s Seven Bucks Productions, took to Twitter to share a drawing he did when he was a child. In the photo, he drew himself performing his dream job of being a professional wrestling manager.

In his tweet, he offered to manage Jax at WWE’s upcoming live event at Madison Square Garden on December 26.

Jax responded to Gewirtz with the following:

Gerwirtz worked for WWE from 1999 through 2012 and served as the head writer of Raw from 2002 through 2012. He appeared on WWE television a few times in one-off character roles. Two appearances we know of took place in 2001:

  • On the January 29, 2001, episode of Raw, there was a contract signing between Triple H and “Stone Cold” Steve Austin for their match at the No Way Out pay-per-view. Triple H (with Stephanie McMahon), Austin, and Vince McMahon sat at a huge table in the middle of the ring. Triple H brought out an attorney to look over the contract, who was Brian Gewirtz and referred to by his real name.
  • On the June 14, 2001, episode of SmackDown, Perry Saturn and Terri went on a double date with Dean Malenko and his lady friend. Gewirtz appears as a waiter and asks both couples if they’re ready to order.
