WWE 205 Live Moving To Wednesday Nights

With the second season of WWE Mixed Match Challenge premiering this Tuesday, WWE’s programming schedule is undergoing a bit of a shift.

WWE announced today that starting next week, WWE 205 Live will air at 7 ET/4 PT on Wednesday nights.

This timeslot change was indicated on the WWE Network schedule before being officially confirmed by WWE.

205 Live is part of a three-hour block of all-new in-ring programming on Wednesday nights with NXT and the Mae Young Classic.

WWE hasn’t announced if there will be any changes to 205 Live being taped after SmackDown LIVE or if the show will be moving back to its live format on Tuesday nights when Mixed Match Challenge is over.

205 Live aired live after Mixed Match Challenge during season one, but season two’s episodes will be 30 minutes long instead of the previous 20 minutes. Mixed Match Challenge season two premieres on Facebook Watch after SmackDown LIVE on Tuesday. There will be 14 episodes, with the tournament culminating at WWE’s TLC pay-per-view event on December 16.

Cedric Alexander defends the WWE Cruiserweight Championship against Drew Gulak on Wednesday’s show. Also scheduled is a match pitting Lio Rush against Noam Dar.
