Anonymous WWE Performer Says Alexa Bliss Is A Ring Rat

Alexa Bliss

Alexa Bliss is a ‘ring rat.’

This is according to an anonymous submission on gossip website TheDirty.com, which allows people to submit their own “dirt.” That may include news, gossip, photos, videos, or text, and site users can comment on posts submitted by others. Since 2007, the site has been involved in breaking several national news stories.

This anonymous person, who is currently training to be a wrestler at the WWE Performance Center in Orlando, Florida, feels she needs to be called out for being a ‘ring rat.’

A ‘ring rat’ is an insider term in the professional wrestling industry that has been used for years to reference women who sleep with male wrestlers. The term is generally used to reference female fans who sleep with male wrestlers, but it’s also used for females in the industry who sleep around.

Here is the submission in its entirety:

Nik, I am currently training with WWE to be a wrestler. We train at NXT in Orlando. A great group of men and women are down here but I have to call out one girl, Alexa Bliss. I wish to stay anonymous but this needs to be out. She is a ring rat as we call it. She sleeps with just about every person who walks in the door here and has slept with trainers, higher ups, wrestlers and whoever else she can get her hands on. I have heard nasty stories I refuse to share. She is cute and nice but is a total slore. She is not very good in the ring but isn’t bad as a manager. I hope she sees this and cleans her act up asap.

Bliss addressed the rumor on Friday via Twitter. Responding to a user, she stated, “all false.” The tweet was subsequently deleted. She then sent out the following tweet to her followers: “One Thing my mother always taught me… “Your reputation is something you will NEVER out grow, so make sure it’s one you’re proud of.”

Bliss is rumored to be involved in a relationship with Murphy, who she manages in NXT with Blake. She sent out this photo on Twitter last week of herself and Murphy at a movie theater watching Paranormal Activity: The Ghost Dimension.

The insider term surfaced in the public eye in August when Amanda Saccomanno branded Sara Lee as a ‘ring rat’ during a live broadcast of the WWE Network’s Tough Enough post-show, Tough Talk.

Amanda claimed that she was simply playing a role on Tough Enough, and wasn’t actually the way she’s portrayed. She then said that Sara also wasn’t.

“The most annoying thing about Sara is that she plays the role of the girl-next-door, and honestly, she’s not the girl-next-door,” Amanda said. “I get a rep because of the way I look, and I think it’s kind of funny because maybe the reason she’s so ‘likable,’ because of being at the barracks every weekend practicing her moves, she’s playing ring rat.”

The judges were shocked at Amanda’s accusation, as you can see here.

Sara immediately denied Amanda’s claim.

“That’s not true, for the record,” said Sara. “She’s trying to get into my head, or the heads of the WWE Universe. She can say what she wants. She said herself she was going to try to plant seeds of doubt in my head.”

Bryan Alvarez said the following day on Wrestling Observer Live that members of WWE’s web department were specifically told not to use the term in any story. While WWE higher-ups weren’t happy with Amanda calling Sara a ‘ring rat,’ it didn’t stop her from being offered a WWE contract. The company announced in September that she would be joining the main cast of Total Divas — Naomi was removed to make room for Amanda.
