Perry is perhaps best known for her appearances for WWE from 2014 through 2021 under the ring name Lana. She appeared for All Elite Wrestling (AEW) in 2023 under the name CJ Perry, which was later shortened to CJ.

She married Bulgarian professional wrestler Miroslav Barnyashev (aka Rusev in WWE and Miro in AEW) on July 29, 2016, and also became known as CJ Perry Barnyashev. They separated during winter 2023, but she still refers to herself as CJ Perry Barnyashev for acting and producing roles.
