Spoiler: New #1 Contender to WWE NXT Champion Finn Balor Revealed

– Apollo Crews won a battle royal at tonight’s WWE NXT TV tapings to become the new #1 contender to Finn Balor’s NXT Title. The final four in the match were Crews, Samoa Joe, Baron Corbin and Tyler Breeze. Crews reportedly received a huge pop after the win.

No word yet on when Crews vs. Balor will happen but it could be NXT “Takeover: London” in December, if not sooner. We’ll keep you updated.

Triple H has praised Crews in recent interviews and conference calls, noting that he has high hopes for Crews and believes he has what it takes to be champion.
