Sasha Banks Has No Interest In Working With Alexa Bliss Again

Sasha Banks vs. Alexa Bliss

There have been rumblings for years that Sasha Banks and Alexa Bliss don’t like each other. During an interview last week with Pete Rosenberg, “The Boss” was asked about that and seemingly confirmed that there’s animosity between herself and Alexa.

While appearing on his YouTube series “Open Late with Pete Rosenberg,” Rosenberg noted that her rivalry with Bliss was special because it felt like the tension between them was real. When asked if there’s any accuracy to rumors of tension, Banks responded, “I think I’m really good at what I do.”

After being asked if she wants to do more with Alexa, Banks replied, “Not really.”

Rosenberg then asked her if the story was already told between herself and Alexa.

“I think if they want to have me versus Alexa, then they can have that because I can do my job very well,” Banks said.

When asked if she feels there’s more to tell with their story, Banks replied, “No.”

If there is heat, it won’t stop them from working together. But how do they keep it professional?

Alexa explained when asked during an appearance on Rosenberg’s Cheap Heat podcast last August when they were feuding on television.

“I’ve always been the person to say, ‘Business is business, personal is personal.’ I will never let my personal feelings about somebody get in the way of business. I want to have a productive match, I want to have a safe match, I want to have a great match; I want to take this company to the next level with our women, with this women’s revolution,” Bliss said.

“I’ve seen the things she said about me. If that’s how she feels, that’s fine. But we know that we put it to the side and have a productive, professional match because that’s what it’s all about. I’m trusting her with my body, she’s trusting me with hers, and I will never ever… I never want to have somebody’s injury or somebody’s misstep or something happen on my watch. So I know that no matter what, I’m always going to be in professional mode.

“It doesn’t matter how we feel about each other, the point is we have a job to do and we have to go and we have to do it well.”

Bliss also said that if there’s a way to inject life into the program, even if it’s using real-life issues, she’ll do it.

Rumors of real-life heat between the two date back to 2014 when they worked together in NXT. During a match that aired on NXT on November 13, 2014, Bliss had her nose bloodied by Banks.

It’s been rumored that Banks caused Bliss to break her nose. Banks is also rumored to have broken Alexa’s nose during a match that aired on NXT on March 25, 2015.

There was also the time Banks clocked Bliss on Smackdown LIVE during a brawl back in November 2016.
