Her full real name is Catherine Anne Kelley and she was born on September 27, 1988 (age 37) in Oak Park, Illinois, United States. She gained notice among wrestling fans as a host of AfterBuzz’s weekly recap programs for Monday Night Raw and WWE NXT. In 2016, she joined WWE.com’s digital correspondent during WrestleMania 32 Week in Dallas, Texas.

Kelley worked a variety of roles for WWE until February 2020, at which point she decided to part ways with the sports-entertainment organization. Later that year, she made her acting debut on the Netflix sitcom #blackAF as a flight attendant. She returned to WWE in October 2022 as a backstage correspondent on Monday Night Raw. In June 2023, she shifted to Friday Night SmackDown in the same role.

Kelley plans to continue acting while working for WWE. Deadline announced in May 2025 that she had been cast in an action-comedy film called Karate Ghost, which began production that month in Toronto, Ontario, Canada. Kelley’s representation issued this notice to Fightful regarding her role in the film: “Cathy is making her film debut in a new action-comedy called KARATE GHOST, now filming in Toronto. It’s a heartfelt, ‘90s-inspired martial arts comedy starring Jim Belushi, Michael Jai White, and Tim Rozon, with Cathy playing Liz, a quick-witted and perpetually frustrated lawyer trying to rein in a clueless small-town mayor.”
