Garcia wrote, “Have you been in the darkness? Life felt heavy?

“I can relate because I’ve been there. And it’s ok to give yourself time to grieve or mourn, kick or scream, but just don’t stay there. At some point, get back up and stare down that darkness. Show it who’s boss! And if you need some help, seek professional counseling or really good friends who are going to help you out of it.

“Ultimately, it’s up to you to make a choice. And when you do, make sure to regroup and walk out of it with swag and style ready for your next chapter!”

Her full real name is Lilian Annette Garcia, and she was born on August 19, 1966 (age 59) in the region formerly known as the Panama Canal Zone.

As the longtime ring announcer of WWE, Lilian Garcia has become recognized as the voice that has introduced many of wrestling’s most historic moments.

In addition to announcing, Lilian is an accomplished vocalist. Prior to many WWE shows, she performed stirring renditions of “The Star-Spangled Banner.” She has also opened up for many professional sports teams, including the New York Jets and Phoenix Suns. The popularity of her amazing voice eventually led to the release of her album, ¡Quiero Vivir!, in 2007.

Given her beauty and charisma, it was only a matter of time before Lilian caught the eye of a WWE Superstar. In May 2005, the inevitable happened when Viscera proclaimed his love for the sexy songstress. Lilian and Viscera didn’t look like a typical couple, but they shared a deep connection. Or so Lilian thought. The relationship eventually crumbled when Viscera chose The Godfather’s ladies over her.

After a two-year hiatus, Lilian returned to WWE in December 2011 as the ring announcer for SmackDown and eventually Raw. For nearly five years, her angelic voice remained synonymous with the sports-entertainment organization. Though her second stint with WWE concluded in 2016, she returned for a few big moments, such as the first Women’s Battle Royal at WrestleMania (WrestleMania 34 on April 8, 2018) and the first all-women’s WWE pay-per-view event, WWE Evolution on October 28, 2018.

The album is primarily a Spanish-language album within the genre of latin pop and was released on October 9, 2007, by WWE Music Group and Universal Music Latin Entertainment. On October 9, 2025, Garcia commemorated the 18-year anniversary of the release of ¡Quiero Vivir! with a post on Instagram.

Garcia wrote, “18 years ago today “Quiero Vivir” which was my first full album dropped!!

“I can’t even begin to tell you what a labor of love this album was and how incredibly grateful and honored I was to have had the amazing @therealtimmitchell & @georgenoriega produce it! Add to that being able to write and sing a duet with @jonsecada had my mind blown! What a dream that came to reality!

“I wanna thank all of you who went out and bought this album and supported this project. I will be forever grateful to you!”

The English translation of “quiero vivir” is “I want to live.”

Garcia reemerged on Monday Night Raw on May 13, 2024, where she was asked by ring announcer Samantha Irvin to introduce Gunther and Kofi Kingston for their King of the Ring Quarterfinal Match. On Raw on October 21, 2024, Garcia handled ring announcements in place of Irvin, who announced her departure from WWE earlier in the day. Garcia continued handling ring announcements for Monday Night Raw until December 30, 2024, which is also the final episode to air on the USA Network. Garcia shifted over to Friday Night SmackDown on January 3, 2025, switching roles with Alicia Taylor.

After ring announcing on WWE Friday Night SmackDown in Barcelona, Spain on March 14, 2025, Garcia revealed on Instagram that it was her last show as the regular ring announcer. Garcia, however, remains under contract to WWE as the ring announcer for WWE Saturday’s Night Main Event on NBC and Peacock. Garcia also noted that she will sing at WWE events and could show up on Raw or SmackDown whenever she’s needed.

Lilian Garcia wants to help knock out cancer. She posted this photo on October 2, 2025, on Instagram and wrote, “As we know, October is Breast Cancer Month.

“Cancer sucks and wow, I have seen first hand how some of the women in my life who have gotten it have battled it. So proud of their fight.

“My mom was one of them. Thanks to a routine Mammogram, they caught her breast cancer in time where she could fight it and live an extra 36 years. And my cousin recently just finished her treatments and was able to ring the bell and be cancer free!!

“Please schedule your yearly mammogram ladies! It literally saves lives!!”
