Ivelisse Velez
Ivelisse Velez is a Puerto Rican professional wrestler currently signed to WWE. She competes for their developmental
promotion Florida Championship Wrestling (FCW) as Sofia Cortez. Prior to joining WWE, she appeared as a contestant on
Tough Enough.
Velez began her wrestling career at the age of fifteen in the island of Puerto Rico. Soon after, she debuted for the top
wrestling organization in Puerto Rico, World Wrestling Council (WWC), owned by wrestling legend Carlos Colon. She would part
ways with WWC in 2006 and subsquently join the International Wrestling Association (IWA), owned by former WWE Superstar Savio
Vega.
After gaining experience in the Caribbean, Velez headed to the United States. She began her quest to make a name for herself
in the Chicago independent circuit under the name Juliet "The Huntress".
