Wade Barrett
Stuart Alexander Bennett is an English professional wrestler currently signed to World Wrestling Entertainment. He
performs on its SmackDown brand under the monicker Wade Barrett. The well-built Brit was the winner of the first season of
NXT, and is the spokesman of the menacing Nexus faction.
Bennett made his professional wrestling debut in 2004 and landed a developmental contract with WWE three years later, following a tryout match. He appeared for Ohio Valley Wrestling and Florida Championship Wrestling before appearing on NXT.
