Three former Impact Wrestling stars are at a tryout currently taking place at the WWE Performance Center in Orlando, Florida.

WWE Recruit, the official Instagram account of WWE talent development, is posting photos and videos from the three-day tryout and three former Impact Wrestling stars can be spotted among the participants: Chelsea Green (aka Laurel Van Ness), Robert Strauss (aka Robbie E) and Brandi Lauren (aka Ava Storie)

Green is also spotted in photos here wearing a Mickey Mouse T-shirt. Lauren is spotted in the group photo below and another photo taking part in a drill.

A video of Strauss in the middle of a promo was posted.

Earlier this morning we got to know our 45 recruits for the June @wwenxt tryouts.

Green left Impact Wrestling back in January after dropping the Impact Knockouts Championship to Allie. She was also a contestant on the 2015 revival of WWE Tough Enough, where she finished in fourth place. Since leaving Impact, she has continued working on the independent scene. She also debuted for Lucha Underground in February, but her appearance has yet to air on television.

Strauss worked as Robbie E for a number of years, joining Impact Wrestling in 2010 (then known as TNA) and he won the Television Championship, X Division Championship, and World Tag Team Championship along the way. Since leaving the promotion in September 2017, he has continued working on the independent scene and launched a podcast called Why It Ended.

Lauren, who is 21 years old, joined Impact Wrestling in March 2017 after making her wrestling debut one year earlier. She was primarily used as an enhancement wrestler at a few television tapings last year, working a total of 11 matches. Her lone win came over Amber Nova in a match that aired on Xplosion.

Lauren parted ways with Impact Wrestling in January, with the promotion releasing her from her contract. Her release was due to a regime change and having nothing for her in terms of a storyline.

She worked a WWE NXT taping last month, where she lost to Lacey Evans in a match that aired on May 16. She was introduced as Brandi Lauren and Percy Watson said on commentary that she grew up watching WWE and is a big fan of Arn Anderson.
