– Top indie star Cedric Alexander is rumored for the WWE Global Cruiserweight Series tournament that takes place this summer. Alexander is not currently signed to ROH and recently had a WWE tryout. Regarding the tournament, it’s expected that EVOLVE, Progress and Revolution Pro will be announcing their qualifying matches in the next week or two. Names confirmed so far are Rich Swann, Tommaso Ciampa, Johnny Gargano, Zack Sabre Jr., Noam Dar, Ho Ho Lun, Akira Tozawa and Lince Dorado.

– We’ve noted how WWE officials Canyon Ceman, Matt Bloom and William Regal attended some of the WWN Live events during WrestleMania 32 Week to scout talents. WWE had scouts at EVOLVE for Will Ospreay vs. Ricochet and Ospreay vs. Zack Sabre Jr. and one felt the match with Sabre was the best of the whole weekend. WWE also had a scout at one of the SHIMMER events and they were said to be most interested with California indie wrestler Nicole Savoy.
