Backstage News on Why Dolph Ziggler Lost to The Miz at Last Night’s WWE RAW
The Miz defeated Dolph Ziggler on last night’s WWE RAW because he will be involved in a “key match” at WrestleMania 32, according to Dave Meltzer on Wrestling Observer Live. Apparently both Ziggler and Miz will be in some sort of multi-man match. It was speculated that they could compete for the WWE Intercontinental Title but that hasn’t been confirmed.
Apparently there was a feeling that Miz needed a win to give him some credibility. The feeling was that Ziggler didn’t need the win because he has a few recent victories over Kevin Owens.
