– The Stamford Advocate reports that WWE has emerged as a player in bankrupt developer Seaboard Realty’s fire-sale of 8 city properties as they put in a $27 million bid for the AmeriCares headquarters on Hamilton Avenue in Stamford, CT. WWE offered $3 million above the minimum price set by the court-approved sale coordinator. WWE confirmed the bid in a statement to The Advocate:

โ€œAn opportunity arose that made sense for us to pursue. If weโ€™re successful in the purchase of the building, WWE would become the buildingโ€™s landlord and assumes the previous ownerโ€™s lease obligations.โ€
